Her Bike Confidence

At our Women's Bike Confidence Program, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to feel safe and confident while riding a bike. We know that women face unique challenges when it comes to cycling, and we want to provide a supportive environment where they can learn and grow as riders.


Our experienced instructors use a strength-based approach to teach participants the skills and techniques to ride confidently in low-traffic environments. Over six weeks, we cover everything from basic bike handling and safety to hazard awareness and defensive riding for navigating quiet streets and bike lanes. Each session includes a 30-minute instruction followed by 90 minutes of shared path and on-road practice.


The Women's Bike Confidence Program is designed for women who want to build their skills and confidence riding for short trips and commuting to work. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, our program is tailored to meet your needs and help you reach your goals. We provide a safe and supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and connect with a community of like-minded women riders.

Join us for our next program starting on Sunday 16 April and ending on Sunday 28 May 2023. We'll meet at the Parramatta Bike Hub at 9 am each week.
