Supportive learn-to-ride sessions for children who may benefit from additional encouragement, patience and personalised guidance. Starting Out – Children & Families is designed for children beginning their riding journey, including those who may feel nervous, need extra reassurance, or benefit from a calmer and more supportive learning environment. We understand that every child learns differently. Our sessions focus on building trust, confidence and comfort step-by-step at a pace that works for your child and family. Skills may include: 🚲 Balance and coordination 🚲 Walking and scooting with the bike 🚲 Starting and stopping safely 🚲 Braking and steering control 🚲 Confidence with pedals 🚲 Road and path awareness basics 🚲 Building routine and familiarity around riding Sessions are supportive, flexible and tailored to individual needs, including children who may benefit from additional learning support or neurodivergent-friendly approaches. Our experienced instructors create a calm and encouraging environment focused on positive experiences, confidence-building and celebrating small achievements. Available as: ✔ One-on-one family support sessions ✔ Small supportive group options ✔ Inclusive and neurodivergent-friendly approaches From Balance to Bike Confidence – Personalised Kids Riding Sessions 🚲 Help your child (5+) gain confidence and independence on two wheels with our Personalised Bike Confidence Plan. Delivered in a safe, supportive environment, these one-on-one sessions are tailored to your child’s needs—whether they’re moving from a balance bike to pedals or strengthening existing riding skills. Plan Includes: 3 x 45-minute personalised sessions ($225 total) One-on-one instruction at your child’s pace Skills in balance, control, and safe riding practices Family involvement encouraged – parents/guardians stay and support Location: Parramatta Bike Hub, Wilson Park, Sydney Olympic Park Requirements: BYO roadworthy bike and helmet (loan bikes available from our Community Bike Library) Safety: Our team proudly upholds a Child Protection Code of Conduct
