In collaboration with the Murama River Rangers, this initiative creates meaningful opportunities for young people to engage in eco-tourism and environmental leadership. The River Ranger program offers a professional pathway for youth, empowering them to become advocates for cultural heritage and river conservation. Guided by local River Rangers, participants will experience the beauty of the Parramatta River while discovering its Indigenous stories, historical significance, and diverse ecosystems.
Connecting Community and Culture
Our Vision
A Living, Connected Waterway
Together with the Our Living River project, we share the goal of transforming the Parramatta River and its tributaries into vibrant, healthy waterways that bring people together. Through guided tours, we aim to foster a deep appreciation of the river’s heritage and ecosystems and inspire ongoing conservation efforts.
