Joining the Community Bike Library

•     Create an account or log in to My Turn, our bike borrowing and reservation platform.

•     Choose your membership. You're welcome to browse the available bikes and equipment first.

•     Read and accept the Membership Terms and Conditions and any required borrowing agreements.

•     Complete your payment.

•     Reserve a bike and arrange collection. We'll help you get started.

Your Bike Library membership includes Bike Hub benefits—you don't need to purchase both memberships.

​

Already a Bike Hub member? Contact us before purchasing a Bike Library membership so we can help arrange your upgrade and recognise your existing membership payment.

Membership Renewal

Memberships are valid for 12 months.

•     Bike Hub members: renew through our website.

•     Community Bike Library members: log in to My Turn and navigate to Account → Membership → Renew Now.

Regular Member Activities

​

•     First Sunday of each month: Community Social Ride

•     Third Saturday of each month: Bike Maintenance Workshop

Additional rides, workshops, guest speakers, volunteer opportunities and special events may be offered throughout the year.

Check the newsletter for current dates and booking details. Activities may change due to weather, public holidays or operational needs. We will share updates through our digital communication channels.

Community Bike Library: Borrowing Made Simple
Reserve a Bike or Equipment

Log in to My Turn, then:

​

•     Open the Inventory page.

•     Select the item you would like to borrow.

•     Choose your preferred dates and available collection time.

•     Add the item to your cart.

•     Submit your reservation.

Adding an item to your cart does not complete your reservation. Submit the cart and check your email for confirmation.

Collect Your Bike

Collect from the Parramatta Bike Hub on Thursdays and Saturdays, 10:00 am–2:00 pm, at your arranged collection time.

Our team will help you get familiar with your borrowed bike and explain its care and return requirements.

Some items may carry additional hire fees outside your membership benefits. Please check the item details before reserving; applicable fees are payable upon collection.

​

If an item becomes unavailable because of damage or a late return, we'll contact you to discuss alternatives.

Loan Period and Servicing

Bike loans are available for up to six months. Your annual membership and your bike's loan period are separate.

Bikes must be returned for a service and safety inspection every six months to keep them in good working condition. You can discuss extending your loan when arranging the service.

Please request an extension before your bike's return date by emailing support@addventageous.com. Extensions are subject to availability.

Return Your Bike or Equipment

Our preferred return time is Saturday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm.

​

Weekday returns may be available by prior arrangement. Our team will inspect all returned items.

If You Need More Time

If you cannot return an item by its due date, please get in touch with us at least 24 hours beforehand so we can discuss arrangements.

​

Late fees may apply to overdue items. Sharing updates helps us manage servicing and reservations for other members.

Caring for Borrowed Items

We maintain and safety-check bikes and equipment before lending them. Please help us care for these shared resources by:

•     Treating items with care

•     Returning them clean and in good condition

•     Reporting faults, damage or incidents promptly

•     Stopping use if an item appears unsafe and contacting our team

​

Repair or replacement costs may apply to items lost or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
